Fed: Troops vaccinated for their own protection - Hill =2
Opposition Leader Simon Crean said Labor would raise the issue of vaccinations in parliamentthis week.
"This is something that has to be clearly investigated and it will be," Mr Crean toldSydney Radio 2UE.
Mr Crean said parents and relatives of troops who did not want the anthrax vaccinehad raised the subject with him.
He also expressed concern some troops could suffer in terms of promotions or deploymentsas a result of refusing the vaccine.
"This is a very worrying development and we do have to get to the bottom of it," he said.
"And we will raise those issues in the parliament."
